Carmen James
Carmen James is a native of Wilkes County. She graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1976. After high school, she entered and graduated from the Radio Television Broadcast Program at Wilkes Community College. She worked full time in radio as a DJ up to management positions until going back to college to complete a B.A. in History at Wake Forest University in 1997. Her passion for local history and the law lead her to study and graduate from North Carolina Central School of Law in 2000. She concentrates on real estate and estate matters including but not limited to loan closings, buyer/seller representation, purchase contract drafting and related documents, right of way and boundary disputes, deeds, wills, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and living wills.
